ACCOUNTANT SIDEKICK

FULL-TIME – BRUSSELS BASED

Why bring an Accountant Sidekick to our team?

BBP has been growing fast in the past 8 years and the customer base is also expanding quickly.
We now sell over 20.000 bottles/day in Belgium and 20 other countries. We have 5 taprooms in 3 countries. And yet, it’s just the beginning. More & brighter lay ahead of us, including our new state-of-the-art brewery that started a few months ago. This is super exciting, and this also means more orders, invoices and other documents of all types to treat in order to maintain our customer service up to our standards.

What does the Accountant Sidekick actually do?

The Accountant Sidekick will be the backbone of our administration, the person we can always rely on to get all the administration done on time and accurately.

More concretely, you will be responsible for :

  • Internal accountancy, working with our external accountant for the monthly closure
  • Paying our suppliers and putting the purchase documents into Business Central (former Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Importing CODA and matching them with the payments
  • Making sure we have all the documents needed for the expenses
  • Invoicing and getting paid (to be confirmed)
  • Office administration

What does the Accountant Sidekick need?

  • Experience in accountancy
  • Be familiar with Microsoft Business Central (former Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Fluent in French or Dutch and English. Any additional language is a nice to have

SOCIAL CONTENT SUPER INTERN

full time – min. 6 months – August 2022 – Brussels BASED  

Our story 

The Brussels Beer Project in a few words? A participatory project highlighting co-creation to think outside the box and bring a good dose of freshness to the Belgian brewing scene! We started in 2013 in our garage, and today we are 25-strong & set to become one of the best breweries in Europe. 

Our DNA is based on collaboration with our community whom we involve as much as possible in everything we do. We brew nearly 50 new pop-up beers per year in our brewery, located in the center of Brussels, and we are building a new 2.0 brewery on the Brussels canal to brew more great local craft beers. Very present in Brussels and in Belgium, we are also increasingly present in France and export to around fifteen other countries. We have 5 taprooms – in Brussels, Tokyo and Paris. 

We have already welcomed many interns with the constant idea of ​​creating a great life and professional experience for the young talents who join us. 

What will you do?

At BBP, Comm stands for communicationcommunity and e-commerce. Part of our Comm team, you will be responsible for bringing the BBP story to life on social media, through great storytelling in words and images. 

Minimum 3-month internship with the desire to contribute to the colorful universe of BBP, being a creative storyteller and the best friend of our community. Want to know what does that mean? 

  • Go around our breweries and bars around Brussels to capture the essence of each place! A phone camera and juicy creativity is all you need! 
  • Write compelling copywriting in English and French to match the energy of our striking images.
  • Schedule stories and posts to guarantee our community won’t miss a drop of what’s happening behind-the-scenes 
  • Follow all the conversations and jump into meaningful interactions with our community in our comment sections 
  • Stay on top of the most recent trends on social content around the globe 
  • Analyze the performance of our online presence on the different channels and translate it into meaningful insights, appealing to all our COMM team 
  • Cooperate with our in-house content producer – that means holding lights and tripods, but also being a hands model for our next beer can shot.  

Who are you?

  • You should have some experience with image and video editing tools such as: Canva, inShot (or similar editing tool), Photoshop and Premiere. 
  • You are organized and results-oriented, have the ability to multitask and make quick decisions  
  • You have an eye for detail 
  • You have a passion for communication with an overflowing creativity 
  • You are a team player but can also work independently  
  • Top-notch writing & verbal communication skills, including exciting creative copy, with English proficiency.

        Today, we’re looking for our future Chief Ambassador in Belgium to rock our sales!

        Your mission?

        The role of the “Chief Ambassador” is essential to make the project grow.

        We are looking for a versatile person in scale-up mode to join our Belgian sales team of 6 stupid dreamers.

        Here is a non-exhaustive list of your responsibilities:

        • You have the soul of a preacher, and you want to convert new bars/cafes, restaurants, and shops from bringing out industrial beers and traditional beers to dare something fresh!
        • You will take over a pool of existing customers in a defined sector with whom foam, hops and acidity will be a common thread in your exchanges.
        • You won’t be afraid to roll up your sleeves, or the bottom of your pants, to organize events &/or help in them!
        • You know our little piece of history and you share it as if you have been with us since day 1!

         

        The Chief Ambassador in a few words?

        Lover of beers and good ones! You know the best coffees in your city and the history of several craft breweries born in the last decade in Belgium and abroad. Because yes, you have an adventurous spirit and “saw the country! »

        • Ultra-autonomous, voluntary, creative, expansive
        • Does not have the soul of a civil servant and agrees to work outside the rigid framework from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
        • Has sales experience, and you even have an established customer relationship!

        E-Commerce Manager

        The Brussels Beer Project is a participatory project highlighting co-creation, innovative thinking and eco-responsibility. We aim to be the most innovative brewery in Belgium, and we’re bringing a good dose of freshness to the brewing scene!

        Today, we’re looking for our future e-commerce manager to rock our online sales!

        The position 

        As our e-commerce manager, you play a key role in the development of our digital strategy and are responsible for all our online sales channels: e-shop, paid socials & paid search. You are part of BBP’s Community Team and report directly to the Marketing Manager.

        The responsibilities 

        • Manage our e-shop, from order delivery to customer journey optimization 
        • Review & optimize our website, focusing on an improved online customer experience with our brand 
        • Be in charge of the collaboration with external developers to implement desired changes within website and e-shop 
        • Be the main point of contact with external paid socials experts to discuss strategies & challenges 
        • Set up & optimize paid socials campaigns, following closely our ROAD & cost per result 
        • Set up & optimize keywords campaigns to improve brand visibility 
        • Develop our top-, mid- & bottom of our digital funnel to increase both awareness & conversion 
        • Develop new online sales channels based on collaborations & partnerships with other brands 
        • Analyze customer data & identify powerful sources of acquisition 
        • Build automated marketing campaign reports 
        • Track monthly sales & understand trends and numbers 

        The skills required 

        If the position requires experience & a successful track record, we look first and foremost for the right person to fit the team! 

        • 2+ years of proven experience in Digital Marketing, with clear expertise working within e-commerce 
        • Familiar with e-shop back-office. If it’s Shopify, it’s a (big) plus! 
        • Analytical skills — Use analytical skills for problem-solving and gathering the right information 
        • Marketing skills — Be able to successfully market our business and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns 
        • Project Management skills — Be agile! 
        • Digital savvy — Be passionate & highly curious about digital marketing

        E-Commerce Super Intern

        Full Time, Brussels-Based

        Our Eshop

        Our e-commerce is key in our strategy to bring great craft beers to our community all over Europe. We set it up to fight against COVID & it has quickly become a big traffic & sales channel in only one year. We have already shipped over 30.000 parcels to our customers & this is the very beginning!

        There’s a lot to do still to scale up & we’re looking to add a very talented intern who can push us further. Want to bring our e-commerce into the Champion’s League? Welcome on board!


        What will you do?

        6 months internship starting August 2022 – Passionate about e-commerce (and beers), you are curious about this ever-changing field.

        • You will help the E-commerce Manager in the daily management of the Beer Club (our e-commerce home delivery subscription), the pre-order project and the e-shop sales
        • Management of the product launch, creation of new offers and updates of our current products
        • You support our E-commerce Manager in the implementation of our growth strategy (data analysis, conversion optimization, Shopify e-shop updates, product innovations, CRM improvements)
        • You follow & analyze our e-commerce data and come up with recommendations and actions to improve our results.
        • You fully handle the e-shop customer care. A broken box? A wrong delivery address? You take care of our customers & solve issues.
        • You conduct various surveys analysis
        • You follow the trends of e-commerce in the craft world and beyond in order to improve our eshop and digital transformation

         


        Your profile

        • Consummate passion for craft beers
        • You already have a successful experience in E-commerce or want to dive into it.
        • You talk UX/UI & e-commerce conversion optimization like your mother tongue
        • You are familiar with Shopify or want to learn more
        • Familiar with creative tools such as Adobe Suite, Canva, Figma.
        • You have an excellent command of Excel and/or Google Data Studio. You read data like comics & handle them easily
        • Autonomous, dynamic, organized, hands-on and pro-active
        • OK to work outside the rigid frame 9 am-5pm
        • You speak current Englishand perfectly French or Dutch
