PRODUCTION MANAGER

Production Manager – full-time – brussels-based

You will oversee the production of >25.000 hecto from A to Z (planning, recipe design, brewing, cold block, packaging, quality). We look for someone bring experience and manage a team composed of existing talented brewers and new teammates. You will share the responsibility of the whole site with our Operations Manager.

You will be the overall responsible and work with your team to:

  • Be an active all-around player : brew, manage fermentation & package!
  • Bring your experience to reach great quality & efficiency through KPIs definition, monitoring & improving the entire production processes and oversee the quality programs.  
  • Be responsible of the planning and draw up a production and a staff schedule
  • Take an active role in designing new beers & improving current ones
  • Negotiate with suppliers and ensure stock levels remain adequate.
  • Make sure the maintenance of the equipment is well done
  • Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times
  • Liaise with the different BBP teams and work with managers to implement the BBP strategy and meta objectives
  • Coach, lead by example and motivate a team of talented staff members

QUALITY MANAGER

quality Manager – full-time – brussels-based

You ensure that our beers in the new brewery (25.000 hecto/year) are mind-blowing & our quality is the top level of the “champion’s league”. You are the overall responsible of the quality, which means developing & implementing the right program, but also engaging & enabling the whole team in the quest of perfect quality!

You will:

The quality program of our first brewery is already well-established and high quality. You will need to build & implement a program for our new bigger brewery (25.000 hecto/year) with the support of talented and passionate brewers.

  • devise and establish a company’s quality procedures, standards and specifications
  • manage samplings & monitor performance by gathering/analyzing relevant data
  • come with clear and actionable recommendations to improve the quality
  • set standards for quality as well as health and safety
  • work on quality requirements from external suppliers
  • look at ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency
  • set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures
  • liaise with staff and provide training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve top quality standards
  • occasionally brew & help package

What we’re looking for?

This position requires experience & a successful track record, but we look first and foremost for the right person to fit the team. We’ll prefer someone with result-oriented mindset than with a pure R&D approach. We will have good tools to track quality in-house, but we can also count on solid partners.

PACKAGING MANAGER

packaging Manager – full-time – brussels-based

You ensure consistent top quality & smooth bottling, canning and kegging runs in the new brewery! You will be the overall responsible for this super key step for our creations with a hands-on & experienced approach.

You will:

  • Manage & oversee the packaging runs on bottles, cans & kegs. In the new brewery we will have a combo Leibinger filler for cans/bottles (5.200 units per hour) and a manual kegging line.
  • Bring your experience on the packaging to reduce the O2 pick-up to minimal levels, and get the beer available on-time
  • Implement with a hands-on approach little changes to continuously optimize the processes and the results
  • Implement quality control
  • Manage the maintenance of the machines, and be able to manage some easy fixes on the machines yourself.
  • Deal with unexpected incidents, such as machine breakdowns
  • Draw up work schedules, supervise packaging staff & provide guidance

COLD BLOCK SPECIALIST

Cold block specialist – full-time – brussels-based

You bring a unique expertise in the cold block within a larger team of talented brewers in the new brewery of Port Sud (>25.000 hecto). You will be responsible for the beer from the CCT to the BBT, ready for packaging. We look for someone passionate about craft beer, hands-on, and a great teammate.

You will:

  • Be the specialist in the cold block (from CCT to BBT, ready for packaging)
  • Be an active player in a broader team, and be ready to also brew and package!
  • Share your passion & ideas to come up with new ideas and improvements
  • Bring your high energy to make sure things are done, and well done
  • Help for the sampling for our great quality program
  • Participate in all kind of tasks to make sure we produce & deliver our BBP beauties

JUNIOR BREWER

JUNIOR BREWER – full-time – brussels-based

You will join a team of talented brewers in the new brewery of Port Sud (>25.000 hecto). You will participate in the full process (brewing, cold block, sampling, etc.) to create kick-ass beers with a consistent quality. We look for someone passionate about craft beer, hands-on, and a great teammate.

You will:

TAPROOM SHIFT MANAGER

Taproom Shift Manager – FULL TIME – brussels-based

          COMMUNITY SUPER INTERN!

          Community SUPER intern – full time – min. 3 months – Brussels

          The Brussels Beer Project in a few words? A participatory project highlighting co-creation to think outside the box and bring a good dose of freshness to the Belgian brewing scene! We started in 2013 in our garage, and today we are 30-strong & set to become one of the best breweries in Europe.

          Our DNA is based on collaboration with our community whom we involve as much as possible in everything we do. We brew nearly 50 new pop-up beers per year in our brewery, located in the center of Brussels, and we are building a new 2.0 brewery on the Brussels canal to brew more great local craft beers. Very present in Brussels and in Belgium, we are also increasingly present in France and export to around fifteen other countries. We have 4 taprooms – in Brussels, Tokyo, Pigalle and Canal St Martin (Paris).

          We have already welcomed many interns with the constant idea of ​​creating a great life and professional experience for the young talents who join us.

          What will you do?

          Minimum 3-month internship with the desire to contribute to the life of the BBP, and in particular to spoil our community

          • You will be our customer service whizz, in daily contact with our community to respond to their requests. You love being in contact with people and are all about great service!

          STUDENT – 2 JOURS/SEMAINE – 4 MOIS –RÉMUNÉRÉ (12,76€/h brut)

          Le Brussels Beer Project en quelques mots ? Un projet participatif mettant en avant la co-création pour sortir des sentiers battus et apporter une bonne dose de fraîcheur à la scène brassicole belge ! Nous avons commencé à deux en 2013 dans notre garage, et aujourd’hui nous sommes plus d’une trentaine & avec le rêve de devenir l’une des meilleures brasseries d’Europe.

          Notre ADN est basé sur la collaboration avec le soutien notre communauté que nous impliquons autant que possible dans tout ce que nous faisons. Nous brassons près de 50 nouvelles bières pop-up par an dans notre brasserie, située dans le centre de Bruxelles, et nous construisons une nouvelle brasserie 2.0 sur le canal de Bruxelles pour brasser encore plus de bières ;-). Très présents à Bruxelles et en Belgique, nous sommes également de plus en plus présents en France et exportons dans une quinzaine d’autres pays. Nous avons 4 taprooms – à Bruxelles, Tokyo, Pigalle et Canal St Martin (Paris).

          Nous avons déjà accueilli de nombreux students avec l’idée constante de créer une belle expérience de vie et professionnelle pour les jeunes talents qui nous rejoignent.

          QUEl est ton job? 

          • Tu seras amené à assurer la présence de BBP dans tous les magasins retail des grandes villes de Belgique lors des temps chauds, soit les vendredi et samedi.
          • Ta mission sera de gérer la présence et bonne disposition de nos bières en rayon et en double implantation.
          • Pas besoin de t’expliquer la frustration de vouloir te faire un bon BBQ ou repas….sans ta Delta IPA !
          • En tant que bon berger, tu recevras un lot de brebis (magasins) et devras veiller à ce qu’elles restent toutes bien regroupées et ne s’égarent pas.

          Tu seras directement intégré dans la team SALES du BBP avec nos Chief Ambassadors, qui connaissent mieux la Belgique que n’importe quel participant à Pekin Express.

          Horaire : vendredi et samedi de 8h à 15h
